Studio 23 Performing Arts is a performing arts school, based in Forest Hill, South East London.  The school is run by Yvonne Scott who has over twenty-five years’ experience of preparing students for a professional career within the entertainment industry.

The school’s view is to get the most out of all its students, offering affordable classes, whilst maintaining a high standard of training within a friendly environment. Studio 23 Performing Arts has a team of committed professional staff who will prepare students to work professionally in the performing arts industry or to satisfy children’s budding interest in dance (Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap), acting or singing. Our school is committed to promote equal opportunities and prevent discrimination. Studio 23 partake in charity work throughout the year, supporting charities such as Cancer Research and the local hospices.

Over several years of teaching, Yvonne Scott has prepared previous students for professional competitions, auditions and for entry to several top performing arts colleges in the UK.  Some of her ex-students’ performance success stories are Amy Webb (currently performing in Wicked), Durone Stokes (currently performing in Lion King West End), Glen Murphy (runner up for Britain got Talent – Twist and Pulse), James Goode (preformed in The Book of Mornon, and Bat out of Hell), and Taylor Bradshaw (performed in Mamma Mia West End).
